Mark White Promoted to Bodyshop Manager
Finesse Accident Repair Centres is proud to announce that Assistant Bodyshop Manager, Mark White, has been promoted to Bodyshop Manager.
Mark joined Finesse in May 2021 after working as an Assistant Bodyshop Manager at an accident repair group. Originally training as a Panel and MET Technician, Mark has hands-on, practical experience working within and the management of bodyshops. As Bodyshop Manager, Mark will continue to manage the workshop, but will also take on new responsibilities including the Redhill facility and ultimate responsibility for customer service and VDAs.

Dorking Refurbishment Complete
2020 was quite a year for the Finesse team. We opened our second site in Redhill, fully rebranded the business and gained Tesla approval. Feedback from the team after opening the Redhill branch led us to the decision to fully refurbish our Dorking facility in November 2020.
Although we managed to take a short break over the Christmas period, the team has been working hard behind the scenes to ensure the refurbishment was completed before the business fully reopened on January 5th. Both Finesse sites are now market-leading accident repair centres, fitted with the latest technology, and work environments which are designed to aid efficiency and precision.

Tesla Approval
We are pleased to announce that we are now officially a Tesla Approved Bodyshop!
Repairing prestige vehicles requires the best facilities, tools, equipment and expertly trained staff. To become a Tesla Approved Bodyshop, repairers must demonstrate that they meet the highest standards of repairs on across all Tesla models. The Finesse team are experts in the repair of Tesla vehicles, from cosmetic damage to structural repairs.

Introducing Finesse Accident Repair Redhill
After a period of sustained growth, we acquired a second facility in Redhill in May 2019 to increase our overall repair capacity and to create a more professional atmosphere for our customers. Although Covid-19 caused some minor delays, our Redhill site officially opened after a full refurbishment in July 2020.
Finesse Accident Repair Redhill is a state-of-the-art facility with the latest tools and equipment, including a specialist aluminium repair bar.

“We continued with our planned expansion through Covid-19 as it was a fundamental factor in changing our business model to becoming more customer focused. Increasingly, bodyshops must offer a modern and professional environment.
Customer feedback to our new facility has been fantastic, but we have also had incredibly positive feedback from staff. One staff member commented that they preferred working at the Redhill facility as it made them feel more professional. This led to me to the decision to refurbish our Dorking site to align with the modern design and layout of Redhill. Our new facility allows staff to work in a more modern, professional and highly efficient environment, which in turn creates better results for our customer base.”
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 we were unable to officially open our Redhill facility with an open morning as planned. We are looking forward to holding regular open mornings and site tours once it is safe to do so.

Why we’re looking a little different…
At the start of 2020, we made the strategic decision to rebrand from Dorking ARC to Finesse ARC. Unlike lots of other things this year, our rebrand ran to plan and we are now operating as Finesse Accident Repair Centre.

“Earlier this year, I made the decision to rebrand the business. Rebranding was a huge decision for us as we did not want to detract from the reputation that we have created over the last 23 years as Dorking ARC. However, feedback so far has been absolutely superb and I am confident that our new branding, website and online strategy will allow us to reach and support more customers. The Finesse brand aligns perfectly to our ethos, mission and company strategy.”
Although we have been located at our Dorking site since 1992, it has changed a lot since then.
We have a long history of repairing and maintaining vehicles throughout Surrey, London and across the South. Increasingly, we are focusing on providing vehicle manufacturer approved repairs. We are approved by Audi, BMW, Mini, Seat, Skoda, Subaru, Tesla, Volvo and VW.
